Greasy Spoon – for a serious appetite!
Greasy Spoon was born out of necessity — and a serious craving. No, this isn’t an adults-only story… although, in a way, maybe it kind of is.
As a family-friendly restaurant, we’re talking about great food, good drinks, and the kind of atmosphere that was hard to find in Kuopio’s restaurant scene. We wanted to fill that gap with a slightly bigger… spoon.
Drink & Bite on Kauppakatu
Drink & Bite was never meant to be your typical corner bar with stiff vibes and the kind of pub food nobody remembers. Nope — we decided to do things differently and put the focus on quality food, great drinks, and a laid-back atmosphere.
And just like that, people started pouring through the doors in an endless stream, chasing our grilled favorites and cocktails. We loved it, our guests loved it — and before long, our burger was voted the best in town. Turns out the city had been craving it too!
Grill & Chill at Viihdekeskus Minna
After a while, the burger game started to feel completed, so we revamped our concept and shifted our focus to sandwiches instead.
But we all started missing the bigger, greasier stuff. The craving nearly drove us crazy — until we realized one thing: if you’re going all in with Spoon, you need (at least) two spoons.
And now there’s BIG SPOON and Little Spoon!
The same great vibe and familiar concepts now live in their own restaurants right in the heart of Kuopio: Greasy Spoon – Drink & Bite on Kauppakatu and Greasy Spoon – Grill & Chill at Viihdekeskus Minna!
